December 19th and 20th, Gronical Dizziness organises the second Martinicup. The Martinicup is Holland's biggest indoortournament and one of the largest in Europe. The Martinicup will be the only current indoor tournament (as far as we know) featuring an Open, Women and Mixed division. We are looking forward to organise an even better and bigger Martinicup.
Our aim is to have a high level indoor tournament with 16 open teams, 12 women and 12 mixed teams. There will be enough playing time for each team, and a good party of course. The sports centre where the tournament will be, has 4 full sized indoor pitches. Playing, partying and sleeping are all in this sports centre. Groningen being situated in the North of the Netherlands is the ideal spot for Scandinavian, German, Belgium, French, English and teams from the rest of Europe to get together. Groningen has good accessibility from both the north and the south by car and train. Groningen is about two to three hours from the airports of Amsterdam, Bremen, Düsseldorf by car or train. Direct busses run from Bremen to Groningen. |
